After a public input meeting, consultation with local and county trail and open space experts, and comments provided through an online survey, Conservation Resources created a draft plan for comprehensively linking parks, neighborhoods, schools, historic areas, natural areas, scenic vistas and shopping areas through a network of multi-use trails and pathways. This draft plan is now available for public review.

Chester residents, business owners, and others are invited to review the draft for the Integrated Chester Trails Plan, and provide feedback about what they like, what they would like to see added, and what their concerns are. The plan can be downloaded here.

We invite all interested folks to come together on Tuesday, April 10th for the second public meeting to discuss this plan. The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Field House, 107 Seminary Lane, Chester.  Bring your comments, bring your friends. See  you there!

Please sign up for the April 10th meeting so that we can be sure to provide enough refreshments for everyone.

The Integrated Chester Trails Plan is a joint project of the Chester Borough and Chester Township Environmental Committees and Green Teams.  This project was funded by a 2011 ANJEC Sustainable Land Use Planning Grant, and facilitated by Chester-based Conservation Resources Inc. (CRI).
