Thanks to the efforts of Chester Boy Scout William Briney, Tanners Brook Preserve in Chester Township now has a puncheon bridge to make crossing a wet area of trail much easier, and to protect the fragile wetland from foot traffic and erosion. The bridge connects Patriots Path near Old Four Bridges Road to the Black River Wildlife Management Area. Many thanks to William for working to improve our Chester Trails!
